History is made up of a multitude of small histories a part of which belongs to each of us. The FHW, aided by you, highlights your history, the important moments you have lived and preserved in a photograph or a text which reveal the experienced side of history. Genealogical trees are complemented with photographs, family documents and heirlooms that the FHW digitalizes and keeps in digital and physical archive, so that it is able to "illustrate" the life and memory of common people who experienced the history of the last decades. Along with photographs, we also collect autobiographies, short and long testimonies in text form, short human histories, precious to the history of refugee Greeks and the history of everyday life of the last decades.
