Volunteering

The Genealogies Project particularly appreciates and depends on voluntary work for the distribution and completion of Communication Forms and Genealogical Tree Reports. The department´s volunteers help in the completion of genealogical trees of relatives, friends and acquaintances, as well as colleagues. Even more "methodically", they undertake to visit Centers for the Open Protection of Elderly Citizens (K.A.P.H) where members are often refugees born before 1922, or schools where students are of refugee descendance. Those who wish to do so and are familiar with computers, can help import data from historical sources or archival material of Asia Minor associations and Organizations of Local governments. The department of Genealogical Trees provides volunteers with substantial education and updates in order for them to address their tasks effectively.

If you wish to volunteer in the work of your department please fill in the form of attendance.
